Bottom Buttons

The bottom of the screen in the app contains four essential buttons that provide functionality for navigating and analyzing trades. These buttons are designed to enhance your trading experience by allowing you to control the flow of data and switch between different views. Below is an overview of each button and its purpose:

Pause/Continue

The Pause/Continue button allows you to pause or resume the flow of real-time data. This feature is particularly useful for:

  • Inspecting Market Conditions: Pausing the data flow gives you time to analyze market trends and conditions without being overwhelmed by constant updates.
  • Automatic Pause: The app automatically pauses the data flow when you click on a trade to view its details, ensuring you can focus on the selected trade without distractions.

Previous

The Previous button lets you navigate to the previous trade in the sequence. This can be helpful for reviewing past trades or analyzing earlier market activity. Keep in mind that each trade consists of two components:

  • Entry: The point at which a position is opened.
  • Exit: The point at which a position is closed.

Clicking “Previous” will display either the entry or exit of the preceding trade.

Next

The Next button allows you to move forward to the next trade in the sequence. Similar to the “Previous” button, this helps you review trades or analyze market activity. Like before, each trade includes:

  • Entry: The opening point of a position.
  • Exit: The closing point of a position.

Clicking “Next” will display either the entry or exit of the subsequent trade.

Tick/Bar Chart

The Tick/Bar Chart button enables you to switch between two chart views:

  • Bar Chart View: This is the main chart view, showing aggregated data over time for easier trend analysis.
  • Tick Chart View: This view displays every individual trade, providing a granular look at market activity.

This functionality allows you to jump back and forth between high-level trends and detailed trade-by-trade insights, giving you greater flexibility in your analysis.
